Sears has become THE WORST with customer service! I purchased a table online. When you are online, the product page boasts free shipping, then when you check out it charges shipping. I selected store delivery since that was free and went to the store to get this rectified. I asked for the customer service dpt and the staff member tells me they do not have one. WHAT? Ok. So I explain my issue, that I bought the table and was offered free shipping, but then could only select pick up at the store or would be charged for shipping. The guy proceeds to tell me that anything over a certain weight is not free shipping and I needed to read the fine print on the website. I tell him that when you select the product, it gives you the option for free shipping. Why would it do that if it was not going to do free shipping. Also, the "fine print on the website" is not on the product page itself, and really does have to be searched out. It was obvious that he couldn't care less to deal with my issue. He said a lot of people come to them with the same issue and that is just the way it is. This seems like TERRIBLE business, and with ALL of the options of inexpensive online shopping, this will be my LAST purchase from Sears.
