Sears technician ALFREDO ALMENDAREZ, did an outstanding job repairing my refrigerator door. He took his time and was very thorough. He also explained to me that my stove top was not covered but that I could add the stove top to my contract, which I did. Since my husband and I purchased our Washer/Dryer and Refrigerator from Sears and purchased the maintenance contract we have had no issues with Sears coming out and repairing our purchases. I recommend that you buy the service contract when purchasing large items. Thank you Sears and thank you Alfredo Almendarez......you're awesome. T & J Reigert

I have had the same problem with my dishwasher for eight years and at least six times Sears has come out to change the control panel. It is a Maytag dishwasher. Fortunately I bought a warranty on it. The part is very expensive. This time however Sears sent a subcontractor to fix the dishwasher. He made three trips to my home. The subcontractor was very nice and efficient. I was without my dishwasher for six weeks because the first part that Sears sent was a used part that didn't work and sears told me that I would have to use a black control panel on my white dishwasher because they didn't make the white one anymore. Needless to say I understand why Sears is going belly up. I will never buy anything again from Sears. Please understand that this subcontractor was put between a rock and a hard place. This is not his fault.
