Wednesday May 03, 2023 (Ventura County Supervisor Matt LaVere and KVTA's Tom Spence) The City of Ventura will host this summer's X Games finals as athletes from around the world will compete in a wide variety of action sports. The event will run from July 21st through July 23rd at the Fairgrounds in Ventura. It will be the culmination of a four city tour in California that will start in San Diego and then work its way to a finale in Ventura. Before that tour, X Games competitions will be going on around the world with top athletes in earning an invitation to come to California and Ventura and battle for the top spot in their particular event like skateboarding, Moto X and BMX.
