A single-vehicle accident in Ventura in which two people suffered major injuries Saturday was partially tied to heavy rainfall.The California Highway Patrol said a 40-year-old Santa Paula woman lost control of a 2003 pickup truck due to the rain and other unknown reasons, sending the vehicle into a guardrail and causing it to overturn.
