The Ventura Fire Department is joining the Ventura City Firefighters Association and local Ventura businesses for the 13th consecutive year championing Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During October, Ventura firefighters are uniting in support of this cause by selling limited-edition pink, embossed department T-shirts. T-shirts are available for purchase while supplies last. Ventura firefighters will wear pink themed t-shirts Oct. 1-15, to raise awareness about the importance of early detection and treatment in the battle against breast cancer.
